I like to think of myself as a chameleon of sorts. I enjoy blending my diverse passions with the people, cultures, and systems that surround me. Contrary to popular belief, chameleons are not imitators, but innovators. They manipulate their skin structure to alter how light reflects off of nanocrystals within their cells, effectively changing their color. That’s what I hope to achieve as a bioengineer: strategically tinker with what nature has given us to create novel applications in healthcare and beyond.
